How will my furniture be delivered? We will bring it right to your garden! When you place your order we will ask for a contact number so we can keep in touch on the day of delivery. After placing your order we aim to deliver in 2 - 5 weeks. During this time we will arrange a delivery day with you via email. We will also clarify any access issues with you. Closer to delivery day we will confirm a time slot. On the day, you will need to be home, to show us exactly where you would like your furniture placed. When we arrive we will carefully unload your furniture and place it where directed.

Can I cancel my order?Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cancellations once an order has been placed with Middle Barn Woodwork. When you place your order with us, we immediately contact our sawyer to order the wood needed for your garden furniture, and we pay for the materials at that time. As a result, each piece is handmade specifically for you, and we are unable to accommodate cancellations. We appreciate your understanding and support of our commitment to providing high-quality, custom, and handcrafted woodwork for your garden space. Thank you for choosing Middle Barn Woodwork for your outdoor furniture needs.

Can I leave my furniture out all year round?Yes you can! Our furniture is made from natural wood that can withstand the Great British weather, no matter what it throws at it. You can expect your furniture to adjust to it's environment and protect itself by turning a beautiful shade of silver grey over the years. Just like us! If however you prefer to preserve the natural fresh colour of your furniture, we would recommend using a clear UV protection oil. If you have any further questions please reach out to us at middlebarnwoodwork@gmail.com

How do I care for my new furniture? What if I spill red wine on my table? If there is an incident with red wine don't worry! Simply mix up a bleach solution with water and pour onto the stain and watch it disappear, then rinse off with clean water and allow to dry. This won't affect your table top or have any lasting effects. When you have your first rain shower on your new furniture it may leave it looking a little blotchy, simply hose the entire set down and allow it to dry naturally, this should bring back an even tone. We don't recommend you don't cover your garden furniture while it's still new as it needs to dry out slowly and breathe, When the sun is hot it's good practice to protect it with a sun shade or large garden umbrella this will help to slow down the drying process and reduce the unavoidable cracking which you can experience with green timber especially oak, which is not a defect, rather part of it's charm and character.

How did Middle Barn Woodwork begin?Middle Barn Woodwork began when we moved into our dream cottage in the woods, and were looking to upgrade our garden furniture. Unfortunately after endless searching, we just couldn't find anything high enough quality to suit our needs. Having already built ourselves a workshop, we decided "why not build our own"!
